Solid Surface Countertops

Solid Surface countertops are a popular choice, especially for vanities. Solid Surface is a non-porous product, and scratches can be repaired DIY. These countertops can be fabricated with an integral Solid Surface sink. Depending on the pattern selected, your countertops can be fabricated with a seamless appearance – especially if you order coved counter-splashes. Please click the links below to view the different colors and patterns available. You can also find samples in either of our showrooms. We’re happy to fabricate your Solid Surface countertops with any of our standard top-edge profiles. These included ⅛” eased round, ¼” pencil round, ½” half-bullnose round, or a bevel edge. Please let us know if you’d like us to match the bottom edge with the top edge. We’re happy to provide a quote for integral sinks. These sinks are made from the same material as, and by the same manufacturer of, your Solid Surface countertops. These sinks come in various shapes, as well as shades of white or beige. Alternatively, we can quote for one of our undermount kitchen or vanity sinks. We offer some stainless steel or granite composite kitchen sinks, as well as porcelain vanity sinks. Otherwise, we’d be happy to install an undermount sink that you provide. Please note we will need to have your undermount sink at our shop to install it into your Solid Surface countertops.

Caring for your Solid Surface Countertops

Please follow our recommendations to care for and maintain your Solid Surface countertops. Solid Surface is a non-porous product. Cleaning is as simple as using warm, soapy water, and wiping them completely dry afterwards. Wiping up spills is a good habit, as if liquid is allowed to sit on the surface it may leave behind residue. While Solid Surface is heat-resistant, it is not heat-proof. Please avoid placing hot items directly on your countertops. We always recommend using trivets or insulated pads underneath hot pots and pans. Please avoid spilling strong chemicals (such as paint removers, drain cleaners, or oven cleaners) onto your countertops. Please promptly wash and dry your Solid Surface countertops if a spill does occur. Please use a cutting board, as the surface of your Solid Surface countertops can become scratched. If you have an integral sink in your Solid Surface countertop, please pour any boiling water down the drain while simultaneously running cold water from the faucet. Please do not suddenly or drastically change the temperature of your Solid Surface sink basin with water, or other liquids, as cracks may develop.
